A real sucker for watching stunning visuals, even more of a sucker to find out how it’s done.

My way into cinematography has been a little less linear than most. After graduating from SAE University College with a Bachelor of Film Production, I spent the following years working across narrative — both feature and short films — music videos and visualiser-based projects, across a multitude of roles and departments. Coming from a 1st AD background into camera, this has given me a strong understanding of how a production functions as a whole, while increasingly turning my focus towards camera.

At the beginning of 2026, I had the opportunity to DP my first long-form project, LATE EXPOSURE, a Sydney-based heist film heavily inspired by the beauty of indie filmmaking and Sydney’s landmarks. More recently, I shot for EMI MUSIC, alongside Creative Director FREYA WARING, for recently signed artist SUNDAY COLLINS’ first EP release, Reveries. I also shot a short for TAKE48 2026 for FERNANDO DI MIGUEL FUERTES’ film The Company.

Coming up is CHOOK, set against the backdrop of Orange, NSW — a personal passion project and my (technical) Director of Photography debut. I had the privilege of shooting a story close to home, alongside friends and family.

I’m particularly interested in the relationship between the creative and technical sides of camera, and over the next year I’m aiming to spend more time working within the 1st AC role. My 1st AD background has also taught me the value of fostering positive relationships between cast, crew and talent. Creative collaboration is an integral part of how I like to work.

Over the past year, I’ve dedicated more time to analogue photography as an art rather than simply a method of archival. It’s become another way to practise image-making when I’m not shooting. After photographing bands such as My Dog Satellite, Vertebrae and Polybius, I’ve found a love for studying how musicians move amongst one another onstage, something I similarly carry into client headshots and photoshoots.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking, riding my horses (whom I have photographed a-many), reading and writing, rewatching Agnes Varda’s work, or planning my 2027 relocation to the UK.
